From Rome / Pisa -"Autostrada del Sole" Milano-Napoli A1 (E35) "Valdichiana" Exit.
At the junction turn right. After 500 metres you will see signs for the Siena - Perugia motorway, follow signs towards Perugia and then exit at "Cortona". DO NOT EXIT AT Foiano Cortona! Then follow signs for Montepulciano and Valiano. After 4 Km (and once you have passed through the village of Centoia), you will see a left hand turn as the main road veers right take this left turn down the single lane track following the avenue of Cypress trees for about 600 metres until you see the walled gate and entrance signposted "Via della Stella".
From Perugia - Take the Autostrada (motorway) Perugia - Siena towards Siena / Arezzo / Firenze until the Cortona exit. Leave motorway for 4 KM towards Montepulchiano, keep going through the village of Centoia towards Montepulchiano. Just after the village there is a road with a cypress tree avenue on your left (it is a track road no asphalt) follow it for around 800 metres and you will arrive at Villa Stella.
